PROGRAM:
At 09:30 pick up from your hotel .You will be driven through the south of the city via the beautiful Cibeles Plaza whose central statue is a replica of the original located in Spain, a gift from the people of Madrid to the people of Mexico. At University we stop to see the 1968 Olympic Stadium, the campus buildings and the Library covered with brightly mosaics. At Xochimilco we will take a typical flat-bottomed boat called "trajinera", festooned with flowers and poled through the canals, the last romantic vestige of Mexico City's past when it was a city built on a lake.
